You can upload contacts in two ways: add contacts individually or import a list of contacts.<\/p>\n<h1 style=\"font-weight: 600;\"><strong><u>Adding Individual Contacts:<\/u><\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>To start adding contacts in one-by-one, click on\u00a0<strong>Contacts<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0on your left navigation bar, and click on\u00a0\u00a0<strong>My Contacts\/Leads.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Now click on the\u00a0<strong>+New<\/strong>\u00a0icon\u00a0 the top-right. You can now start filling out all the necessary information you want to include here for that contact. When you are finished, just hit\u00a0<strong>Save<\/strong>\u00a0in the right-hand corner. That contact will now be uploaded into your account.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-259\" src=\"https:\/\/teamjuncture.com\/edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2023\/06\/upload_individual_contact.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1908\" height=\"904\" \/><\/p>\n<h1 style=\"font-weight: 600;\"><strong><u>Import List of Contacts(Bulk Upload):<\/u><\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>First, you will need to create an Excel file with your contact information \u2013 create as many fields as desired to include all contact information.<\/p>\n<p>Open your contact Excel file and click on\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Save As&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0to choose the file type CSV.\u00a0 This will make the importing process much easier.<\/p>\n<p>Most emails will have an option to\u00a0<strong>EXPORT<\/strong>\u00a0your contacts and it will automatically save as a CSV file.<\/p>\n<p>Examples:<\/p>\n<p>Export contacts from Google email<\/p>\n<p>Export contacts from GoDaddy email<\/p>\n<p>Export contacts from iPhone email<\/p>\n<p>Export contacts from Yahoo email<\/p>\n<p>On your main Contact Dashboard in\u00a0<strong>My Contacts\/Leads,\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Select the\u00a0<strong>Import Contacts\u00a0<\/strong>icon from the upper right hand corner<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>This will open the pop-up window\u00a0to start the contact import process.<\/li>\n<li>Once the wizard is open\u00a0<strong>CLICK NEXT.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol>\n<li>Import File \u2013 Click on Choose File to upload the CSV file from your computer<\/li>\n<li>First row contains field names: Choose Yes or No<\/li>\n<li>File Format: Comma separated value<\/li>\n<li>Import into: Contacts\u00a0<em>*<\/em><em>Unless you are importing LEADS leave the Lead Source blank<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>*The main difference between leads and contacts is that you can delete and export contacts and you cannot delete or export leads.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>NEXT<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol>\n<li>On the next screen, match the columns to the appropriate fields.<\/li>\n<li>Be sure to scroll all the way to the right matching each column.\u00a0<em>*<\/em><em><u>If you would like a column to be skipped leave the import to as IGNORE.<\/u><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Now, review your import before you select\u00a0<strong>Finish:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The file fields is the number of columns that you matched<\/li>\n<li>The total contacts is the number of rows in your file<\/li>\n<li>Lines being skipped are blank rows<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>CLICK\u00a0<strong>NEXT<\/strong>\u00a0to start the import process<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Once the import is complete click\u00a0<strong>Finish<\/strong>\u00a0to complete your import. Your contacts will now be imported into your CRM! Once the import is completed, it will take you back to your main Contact Dashboard.
